I had the mushroom pie, where’s mushrooms, where’s the mince. Thank god there was gravy to go with the beautiful pastry, thin bottom, flaky top. Needed sauce with the sausage roll. They make the best apple slices. Beautiful pastry top and bottom. I should have bought more apple slices. Keep an eye out for the business/ office about a 100 mtrs down the road on the opposite side of the road. That sells the very healthy benefits of the Gumby Gumby Honey. Right next door to the small park that has clean amenities. Close easy parking at this bakery if you have a caravan. Other Bakeries I recommend are, Gin Gin Bakery and Babinda Bakery. I’ve got to be honest, I don’t even like curry. Never have. When the Clermont Bakery accidentally gave me their steak, bacon, cheese, curry pie instead of what I ordered, I was ready to grumble. Then I took a bite… and my entire belief system on pies (and curry) collapsed in one glorious mouthful.

The pastry was golden and flaky, the steak tender, the bacon salty perfection, the cheese melty magic, and that curry? It wasn’t just good, it was life-changing. Suddenly I wasn’t eating a pie, I was having a religious experience. I’ve travelled New Zealand and sampled bakeries across Australia, but nothing comes close to this.

Now I like curry, but only because of this pie. If Clermont put up a sign saying “We convert non-curry eaters daily,” I’d happily be their poster child. Absolute best pie I’ve ever...

I love this bakery as they make the best bread and cream buns. You will not find buns that come close to these in any city or state in Australia from my experience.

I also came on a Saturday morning but it was shut for the weekend. That was very disappointing to find the bakery shut on the weekend.

Price: good prices on the products and you can get a better price if you buy buns by the half dozen.

Service: quick and friendly.
