Thank you for welcoming my father and I to your lovely museum yesterday. The volunteer on duty (sorry did not catch his name) was friendly and knowledgeable and the entry fee of $5 per adult was well worth it. We learnt a great deal not only about Jack Riley but also the history of Corryong and surrounds. Particularly enjoyed the schoolhouse and Iris the jeep exhibits. Visitors just make sure to bring cash as museum was not on eftpos. Ensure you bring enough so at the end of your visit you can buy a souvenir or two from the surprisingly extensive collection. Museum also had easy parking right outside and very clean toilets. Was definitely worth the trip over from Wodonga - highly recommend to all history lovers out there to pay a visit. You'll have a great time and definitely learn something new!

Exceeded my expectations, very interesting reconstructed heritage buildings outside to wander through filled with old tools and artefacts, and the stories behind them. My daughter was particularly impressed by the old equine equipment and saddle display. Inside great history of the town and some of the characters including the legendary Man from Snowy River. Cheap entry and well worth a visit.

We absolutely loved the festival, the downside was that the re-enactment got cancelled due to the poor weather. There was heaps of food options when walking around and lots of clothes to choose from. Maybe an increased security presence due to things being stolen, however that was not our experience. Otherwise we had a great experience and will definitely be back next year!

The museum is a must do when in corryong!!! The price is extremely reasonable $10 for a family of four and worth every cent. Our volunteer was friendly, informative, and very knowledgeable.. we loved listening to his stories. Out the back are original buildings kept in great condition and full of old artefacts and relics. It is a lovely way to spend a couple of hours wandering around looking at all things gone by. There is something there to interest everyone even the members of the family that aren't keen on reliving the 'olden days'. Hats off to all the volunteers that make this lovely little museum a lovely...

A big thank you to John Whitehead for our personal tour today. The museum was closed but John saw us loitering out the front and invited us in. His personal tour was both informative and emotional. This museum is more than the legend of “the man from snowy river”, it encompasses many other aspects of local history. The stories John told made it the perfect visit. Obviously a man who knows and appreciates his local history....
