You’ll reach here after Lake Lilla (if coming from the Dove lake side), and after a more paved road. Note that this is fairly high up in altitude already, but really amazing how a pool of still water like this just collects at such high elevations! The rest stop is a much welcomed break, as we trekked in fairly harsh conditions (wet, cold, and even with some hail). Beautiful place to stop and take in the views a little bit.

Beautiful and wonderful view here, but no wombat. If you want to see them, better to visit ronny creak via Overland Track. It's better chance to see them especially in the evening.

Visited the lake on the way to the submit. Beautiful but quite lake that you can see the reflection of the mountains. Unluckily I didn’t see any Wombat :)
