Although this park is magnificent and offers spectacular views, the management of this park is disastrous. No Tourist information center, just an old decrepit display, the showers at Lakeside camping area were out of order with no indication for when they may be in service. We came for a hike on the Bolte Bay and Estate Spur tracks, recommended by the Eildon Information Center, with a dedicated pamphlet. We found tracks absolutely not maintained, encumbered with countless obstacles, like fallen trees, sections that were completely overgrown, long grass good snake hazards. It would be very easy to get lost. One of us had to clear the tracks as best they could in order for the others to pass through. The very few signs were also decrepit and rotten, the tracks at times were extremely dangerous due to a combination of very steep gradient and slippery gravels and rocks.
