If you're looking for a peaceful, scenic camping experience, Devils Cove Camp Ground is the perfect spot. Nestled in a stunning natural setting, this campground offers incredible views, serene surroundings, and a true sense of being at one with nature.

The campsite itself is well-maintained, with spacious, flat sites that provide ample privacy. Whether you're tent camping or bringing a caravan, there’s plenty of room, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it ideal for relaxation. The area is quiet and tucked away, but still accessible, making it a fantastic place to disconnect from the hustle and bustle.

One of the standout features is the pristine lake and walking trails nearby. It’s a great spot for fishing, kayaking, or simply enjoying the incredible scenery. The birdlife and wildlife around the camp are abundant, and the area feels peaceful and untouched. If you’re an outdoor enthusiast, there’s no shortage of activities to enjoy.

The facilities at Devils Cove are excellent, with clean toilets and showers, and the camp hosts are friendly and attentive, ensuring you have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The nearby campfires and stargazing opportunities add a cozy, magical touch to the experience.

I can’t recommend Devils Cove Camp Ground enough. It’s an ideal destination for anyone looking for a nature-filled getaway with a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere. Can’t wait to return for another...

The only good thing about this camp site is that you're aloud to camp here legally.

The down sides: The camp sites are over grown and not maintained so there is no where near enough room for upto 6 people

The camp sites are NOT lake side.. if you want to go to the lake expect a minimum 10minute walk through thick shrub

The sites cost more than a cheap motel room I paid $106. What a joke! Surely all the tax that we Australians pay should cover a few rough patches of dirt to camp on.

The toilets here are in the worst state I've ever seen and I'm a plumber.

No pets aloud... That's not very Australian.

All in all the worst place I've ever camped and I camp alot. Next time I will probably illegally camp. Even though the fishing is good on the lake and the weather and company was great still the worst camping trip I've had. CAMPING...

Pro- Very good campground area, close to the lake and clean toilet&shower and have the bbq area where you can sit down and have dinner.

Cons- When we arrived at the site we booked, they were a car parking on our site. So we kindly asked around and found out it was one of the other campsite.

Very lound at night from unrespectful campers when we went on the weekend they were a big group booked whole campsite around 10 sites and they still make noise until 1am, severely affecting our sleep.

Do not book close to the lake which is 275-280 because people keep walking up and down to the lake and through your campsite.

The shower is restricted for 3 minutes but some people take longer, up to 10 mins.

PLEASE RESPECT THE PARK...

Stayed over ANZAC weekend. Booked Site 214 via Parks Victoria website one night before, it was the only site left. Site 214 was located across the road from the lake. It was a bit difficult to figure out the campsite numbers on arrival. Our section (Sites 211–216) had one shared fire place but no one else showed up, so it felt very private. Hot water showers and flush toilets available, facilities were clean and well maintained. Lake-side area was busy, with a few shared fire places among campsites. Just a heads-up: no pets, generators, or chainsaws allowed, and you have to bring your own firewood (no collecting on-site). Fires only in the designated spots. Leave the campsite as you found it, or even better, clean and tidy!

This campsite is less crowded compared to other campsites nearby. It has drinking water, BBQ area, designated fireplace, flush toilet, hot shower. The hot shower water was strong and really washed away my tiredness. The camp ground is a bit gravelled, not grassy. Fire is only allowed in the designated fire pit, so it’s better to book the site close to the fire pit if needed. Make sure bring your own fire wood as well. The sky view is fantastic if you walk to the lakeside, you can see the clear sky view without getting blocked by trees.
