I stayed at Dundee Beach Holiday Park from June 2023 for a few months. Initially I thought the park was and staff were terrific. I have worked in customer service for over forty years and I have always enjoyed helping people. Last year 2023 I had a site next to the disabled toilet as I am wheelchair restricted. If I noticed people carrying rubbish or laundry and looking for the garbage point or the laundry then I would point them in the right direction. If I seen rubbish on the ground I pick it up. Any way that’s the sort of person I am. Any way after about 2 weeks of staying at the park most mornings around the time of 5am to 6am some one would throw empty aluminium cans in the recycling can create one by one, not placing them in quietly but throwing them in individually with the intention of making as much noise as possible. This happened a few times in a few days. So I was getting annoyed and started to get up at 5am to see who the disrespectful person was. I noticed it was the chap from site 14 Ron is his name and he has the same site on a yearly basis apparently. I immediately went over to Ron and asked why do you make so much noise? Most people come away to relax we don’t need you to disturb our peace. He then told me that I act as though I own the place and it’s time for me to pack up and piss off. I asked him if he was the owner and he said he keeps a firearm close by and he has tools that he could cut my limbs off and then dispose of me and no one will be wiser. After threatening my life he stepped in his caravan and locked the door. I was outraged and asked him to come outside and we can have a punch on if he wants to. Any way I thought I will talk about this with Nyomi. A very short time later Nyomi comes to my site and goes off at me saying that I have to stop causing trouble with her regular customer Ron. I said hang on don’t you want to hear my side of the story. Nyomi replied no I love Ron and he has told me all I need to know and then turned her back on her and walked away. IS THAT WHAT THEY REFER TO AS KANGAROO COURT? This year I went back to Dundee Holiday Park and at 6:45am on a Sunday morning music is blasting not far from the site I had, I opened the curtain to see who was disrespectful and it was Declan the grounds maintenance manager who then flicked me the bird. I notified Nyomi and received no response. The next morning I saw Declan smoking a six paper roll your own as he was about to start work. I asked a respected yearly client if Ron from site 14 was saying something about me he said Ron said that he and I had a fall out last year but wouldn’t say anything about the factually truth of the matter. I will not be staying at Dundee Beach Holiday Park again as I have found a better place that is managed by true and honest people who have no time for narcissistic people or disrespectful staff. I can say majority of staff at Dundee Holiday Park are good straight people. If you are a person with good intentions then don’t go because Ron from Site 14 will probably threaten your life to get you out of there. I really need to get with Declan to settle a score even though I am wheelchair restricted Declan has really upset me and I need to have at least ten minutes with him to make him learn how to respect people with...

We arrived at 5.50pm, unaware the park closes at 6.00pm. We rang the after hours contact number and left a message. After 10 minutes without a callback I rang and left another message - again. A female staff member called me back and told me I could only have an unpowered site. We were requesting a powered site as we had hired a motorhome. I replied that if that is all they had left, we’d have to take the unpowered site. She replied, that they have powered sites available but all they will rent after hours is unpowered sites. Didn’t make sense to us, but we agreed. We were then told to take pics of my drivers license and the front and back of my debit card and send to the mobile number. I was very uncomfortable at sending my personal details this way, but it was made clear this was non-negotiable. I then received a text with the code for the locked box which had an envelope with codes for the boom gate and amenities. We saw the powered sites and pulled up there. That was all we wanted, a powered site! The next morning when I went to the office to check out, the lady behind the counter said we would be charged for a powered site as we had “plugged in when we shouldn’t have”. I explained that we were happy to pay because that was all we had wanted. I felt like a criminal!! I then asked why we couldn’t legitimately have a powered site when we arrived last night. She said that the woman I spoke to didn’t have the computer with her to check the bookings for availability, that she wouldn’t have known who was arriving and leaving. I replied that that was baloney!! Because of the boom gate they control who enters the park. Also, there was a lot of empty powered and unpowered sites. She then said it was “just policy” This park has the ability to be a wonderful place to stay, but either their staff or “policies” have got to change. And if you are camping without a toilet, these sites are far away from the amenities block which are at the front gate. Another review talked about them trying to preserve grass on sites. Perhaps the grass is dying because the toilet blocks are...

The camp itself was acceptable. Having never been there we had high expectations. Checked in online then phoned to confirm booking and request a stand next to friends of our who also went. Then confronted by the reception lady who questioned me how we made a booking for 1 night only? Her reason was that it should have never happened as they only take bookings for 2 nights as a minimum this time of the year. I explained it was done through their website. Then she informed me because of the 1 night booking she can provide us a stand next our friends as it is first in best dressed, no ifs or buts end of conversation. Long story short we got there early and got 2 stands next to each other. Right at the rear of the camp site considering the toilettes are on the opposite side of the camp to us. We then went and spoke to the lady at reception to ask if we could also hire a ensuite camp site opposite our camp stand purely for the use of the toilette and shower facility. By this time our camp was already setup. The reception lady bluntly stated no the camp is fully booked and she cant help us. The next morning we noticed there were several sites open that were never used. We again went to see the same reception lady who this time said they keep some sites open to preserve and manage the grass. So suddenly it had nothing to do with the camp being full but more a turf management issue. We made it very clear we just wanted the use of the ensuite not the full site and that we were willing to pay for the camp site accordingly. This lady made me regret my visit and I feel she victimised me from the get go. As I said my first visit and it was ruined...

We have had an amazing stay at Dundee Beach. Reservation and Check in was seamless and our site was easy to find. We chose a site with ensuite and WOW. What a fabulous ensuite it was. Small but well laid out with the best shower I’ve had in a long time. Almost better than home. Sites are level and spacious. The tavern dished up great food which kept the husband full after a steak sandwich lunch. Unfortunately we didn’t get a fish in as it was quite windy but never mind.
