Family playgrounds. Fenced play area. Bbq and plenty of chairs and wheelchair and pram friendly or for leisurely walking park lands and orchard. Fruit everywhere. Take your rubbish with you. And a must visit for tourists. Good information on the tree and orchards here. And a lovely old steam train exhibit for the children and young at heart to view only. Plenty of shade and good amenities for toilets and shade and bins provided. Come and be tranquil or squeal with delight over this wonderful free adventure space.

Great place to spend the day with the kids. Easy to access toilets, lockers, cafe that provides food and drinks including coffee and tea. They have guards on patrol but parental supervision is still required. Kids always have ball. Can get overcrowded which is expected so arrive early to secure a good spot.

I give this a four because we had a great day out as a family. The park is old and has seen better days although $60. For a family of four is reasonable. There was little to no wait for slides. Some stuff looked really disinterest in their job

Whether it's for a birthday party, a BBQ or just somewhere for the kids to play that's mostly out of the sun, sugarworld parkland is amazing.

Please note that I am talking about the free parkland, not the waterslides (which are also excellent, but cost money).

There are bike tracks, shady fields for casual sport and an all ability playground that includes climbing equipment that's fun up until 10-11 years while also having swings that are suitable for little kids and disabled swings.

There's two covered BBQ areas, and the back one isn't...

It's a fun pitstop for all ages. Whether you are active or just want to appreciate nature, this park is perfect to meet your needs. What stood out for me was the Abilities Play Area: a place where children with disabilities (as well as any other person who wants to use it) can come and have fun just like everybody else. As a carer, I've used it severally and it's always a highlight for those children. I'm happy because they are happy. Thanks Cairns Regional Council for designing this park with...
