McFeeters Motor Museum — Attraction in Forbes

What a great display of motor vehicles and motor cycles with something to see for young and old. The displays are setup with mannequins dressed in outfits to go with the era of the cars. The place is reasonably well lit from large windows which does make the taking of some photos difficult. There is also a display of various peddle cars for children. It is well maintained and quite often you will be lucky enough to have a guide accompany you describing the history of the various cars and where they came from. There is also a souvenir shop with many small model cars. Right next door under the same roof is a cafe and honey shop with a large diplay if different honey for sale. Well...

A really interesting cross section of cars in terms of age, condition and purpose. Some pre restoration examples give insight to the challenges of restoration, some cars in original condition are wonderful reminders of daily motoring over many recent decades, and there are also some "special purpose" vehicles from many time periods - right up to the present. The well documented history of many of the vehicles helps to reinforce the connection between the cars, their time in automotive development, and the service they provided. A fantastic collection of interesting vehicles from the early 1900's to the early 2010's. Vintage, performance, convertibles, sports cars and everything between. Very well presented and great variety. Lovely owner always has time for guests coming to his museum. Friendly staff, always helpful and available to help.
