Cool, friendly, and informative :)

Lots of parking even a special area for caravans and motorhomes.

They have an information centre as you first walk in with pamphlets of every major and minor area of Queensland.

There are a few display cases of locally made or produced crafts and food products.

I purchased some local honey which Im excited to try out!

There’s a library connected to the main lobby plus a cafe and the museum to the other side.

Definitely recommend stopping in if you’re traveling through the area or if you just want to know more about the...

This Cultural Centre has been built to service the area with good planning and its an aesthetically pleasing building. Excellent library, , marvellous transport museum, good parking, a centre catering for the citizens of the area and visitors once the threat and restrictions of covid 19 are lifted ,hopefully this Centre will return to normal function allowing the Art Gallery to reopen and the conference rooms to be used again. Looking forward to seeing this Centre return to be fully functional and to serve the community for the purpose...

We decided to drive down the range and check out this cultural centre ( mainly for the transport museum). The building is large, open, and welcoming, housing a local art gallery, a library, and a huge eatery as well. The transport museum was small, but had some interesting exhibits and a little of the trucking history of the region. The gallery of cool photos of local iconic people was also fascinating. Friendly staff and a pleasant vibe made our visit...

I love this place for a coffee, a lunch or just to look around. The service is excellent. The folk are all very friendly and ready to help. I have taken many interstate visitors here and they all enjoyed it. Food has been reasonably priced and tasty. Below a picture of some of the locally made products being sold at the information centre. Well worth a look.

Great displays of different machinery and trucks. It's not very big, about a 15 minute walk around. No aircon in the room, just big industrial fans that blow hot air. It's not worth the $8 for admission if you don't live in the area, a Gold coin donation would be more suited.
