Very good prices and portion sizes. Toasties were thick and well filled and well priced. Wedges and chips were gluten free and coeliac safe - fried in a separate frier. Nice and crispy. Large portion perfect for two hungry people or 3 kids. Good selection of gluten free cakes and slices. I’m the display with other non-gluten free items but kept on top shelf to lower cross contamination. $50 for a milkshake, iced mocha, 2 toasties, two slices and a big bowl of wedges. Lunch time on a Tuesday- slowish to order but food came out fast. Inside can be noisy when busy but there is a quieter outside area.

The foods are yummy in very reasonable price. We had the buffet and more together with our friends, and it was indeed a great experience for us ❤️😊 Plenty of car park space outside. The staff are very helpful too ❤️ Beside of the restaurant has a library and museum and more to do here 😊

Today they charged me $8 for the tiniest slice of cheesecake. I’m a regular customer but I will never come here again. This has pissed me off.

I had this company cater my wedding, and although the food was nice, the meals were not exactly what i had ordered for out day without any notice they had changed the menu,, the bar staff that i paid extra for of $400 did not even show up, leaving us to organise one of our guests to have to man the bar and serve. the caterer himself was rude and grumpy when asked simple questions to. Most importantly though was the fact they didnt even have the kids meals this left our children without food and resulted in a child under the age of 4 getting an adult meal that she has high allergies to, if we were not watching she would have ended up in hospital and who knows how that would have ended. when i spoke with Fiona the owner of this company about my concerns after my wedding she agree and apologized for the mistakes made and said she will give me a refund. it has been over a month now with endless emails of me having to chase up and lack of communication from her regarding this i still do not have a refund for the mishaps on my day and instead i have been told by her to seek a solicitor due to her negligence an bad management. i highly DO NOT recommend this company to cater your function as you never know what you will actually receive and if it will even be on time. A Total let down considering i was talking with Fiona right up to the day and making sure everything was organised. Unprofessional...

My family have been visiting the cafe every week from October 2022 until March 2023. We have been visiting mostly for lunch but sometimes for breakfast, and twice for dinner.

The food quality is excellent. We usually have toasted sandwiches but the baked goods are also great (sausage rolls and cakes). The toasted sandwiches are the best you can get outside of your own house.

The cafe serves a wide variety of milkshakes/thickshakes including awesome spearmint shakes. They aren't on the menu but you can ask.

We have only had dinner twice. Once we had prawn pasta and were disappointed by the prawns but it was our own fault for ordering prawns at Gatton. The other dinner we ordered was a chicken schnitzel with roast veges and it was excellent.

The family who run the cafe are very friendly and don't mind when you ask for the furthest table every single week. They don't blink when you turn up dirty and dusty from the field.

If I had a single complaint it would be that most of the times the milkshakes and iced lattes came in a disposable plastic cup and...

Food was excellent, absolutely faultless. I had the eggs Benedict, other members of our group had avocado on toast, as well as a special crumbed steak recommended by the chef, which was apparently delightful. Food was delivered very quickly, with the young lady taking our order on the day presenting professionally and taking our orders quickly and accurately. Discussion with the chef and apprentice chef detailed local produce supporting local farmers, and we found the friendly welcoming staff even more engaging as a result of their warmth and approachable manner. The location of the restaurant provides a lovely view over the lake from indoors and outdoors, and the provision of a 'Kidz Korner' replete with children's equipment kept my children busy between bites of food so we could enjoy our catch up with family.

We are definitely looking forward to attending there when next we...
