Mary Carroll Park in Gosnells is one place where you would want to go. It is not very big; in 15 minutes you can walk it from one side to the other. Read moreNice place for a family picnic and bbq. Bbq is free to operate. Large lawn area for frisbee, etc. on Eudoria street. Larger play equipment for little kids. Can do a small nature walk into and around the lake wetland area and viewing seat is thoughtful hidden gem. Across south-western side of Eudoria street, there is a walk trail around to another wetland area with an exotic willow tree and viewing area. Nice but small natural playground area. Open days and evenings but toilet facilities are locked after hours. Knowledgeable guides for day walks and night stalks as run by City of Gosnells periodically throughout the year. Highly recommend these. Also Friends of MC wetland meet most mondays for friendship and conservation work.....
