RampAttak Indoor Skatepark & Shop — Attraction in Ipswich City

Good pricing for a session if you can make it out here, however the fact its so 'rural' makes it an issue when you want something that isn't provided at the canteen. It's also suggested to bring your own water (lots of it) as there is no free taps or gallons provided.

For the ramps themselves... its okay. I don't expect much for wood but the ply is still really old and it bounces around at times. Always mellow enough to do a scooter air but nothing too insane. The street section is an absolute nightmare if you aren't a blader/skater with rails in the way of everything. At least they are round not square.

By far the worst part is the back-end -- its straight beside the street zone with an awkward alleyway where plenty of children use as a runway to somehow gap the box. The step-up itself is fine and is short enough to do most tricks on, however the rubber resi is complete garbage. It was fine the first week or two after the reopening, however its as smooth as Corrugated Iron. At this point just ride The Village Skatepark. It's hard to take the "no pegs" (yes, scooters included) etiquette seriously when its so poorly maintained. I've not once heard of any incident with damages over pegs and I find it hard to believe a normal axle of a bike wouldn't do the same damages.

RampAttak is an absolute treat to ride and the customer service is amazing. If you're in the area I highly recommend dropping in for a session. I have two young boys 6 & 9 who both would die if their devices were removed off them. Today was different, both spent hours on their scooters and not once asked to leave, in fact the total opposite, they wanted to stay all day. Both returned the next day to ride again. We purchased membership as I have a feeling the boys will be here every weekend and provides great value.

We took all of the kids here for the first time on the weekend, the two men at the service counter were very friendly and helpful, my son got a new scooter and one of the men measured it up for him and then went and cut the bars down to size for him, without even adding any extra fee to the cost of the scooter. The other man in the store was very patient with all the kids while they went in to make purchases and waited patiently while they decided what they wanted. All of the kids had the best time in a fun and safe space where they could attempt new tricks and get out of their comfort zone, we will be coming back!
