Oh I love the Yellagonga regional park, the trails are so magnificently scenic. Spanning along the beautiful lake with wet lands and all the incredible greenery and wildlife that come with it. Go for a little adventure and follow the trail, it’s so peaceful & so much to see.

Kangaroos and wetlands in suburbìa. Nice easy walk around the wetlands on sealed tracks. Good to bring the bikes down with the kids. A herd of kangaroos usually grazing around Whitfords and Waneroo; not tame so good to keep a bit of distance.

Splendid lake, trek and green areas with beautiful scenery. Perfect place for a walk with your doggo best friend. Building public restrooms there would make it complete!

It was a very peaceful walk around. A great place for bike riding walking running. Unable to do anything else there due to the landscape being bushland and open space that is not open to sports picnics etc. It is a lovely place go around. The only thing you need to watch is SOME bike riders go at excessive speed and expect you to get off the pathway, with no warning of their approach, with a burst of colourful language if you don't move off the path. Most otherwise are great. There are also plenty of dogs being walked here. A well looked after beautiful place, let's keep it that way One more thing I would like to say or ask and that is whoever took their motorbikes in their and went around ripping up the vegetation, I kindly ask you not to do so again. We don't go to your tracks and damage them so please don't...

Love this place just as much as my 2 pups. Great walking at any pace on or off the beaten path. It's mostly clean, most people tend to pick up after their dog regardless where in the park they might be. Very little rubbish as well. Be careful in summer, especially if you take your pups there as the grass seed can be horrendous and there is a fair few snakes, especially close to the water areas.

Just be careful if you're turning right from ocean reef road (heading eastbound) towards the parking area. It's rutted and has a fair few pot holes and you have to get over a fairly sharp curb to reach the other side. Cars will bottom out and scrape if you're in a rush to...

Great place, very scenic. But be careful of the acces road, it's sort of a slipway between the two sides of the roads and I came at it in a lifted landcruiser with larger tires and had to slam on the brakes to avoid a ditch half the height of my tires. And then coming off the other side caught a little air getting over the curb as the ditch followed all the way through to the curb. While pulling out I saw a forester get knocked about like crazy as it hit it head on and bottomed out. No doubt it's because of the rain but just ensure you have enough room to slam on the brakes if you have to A.K.A check your rear view and plan ahead to be in a good...
