Love this place. I've been running here for several years, early mornings and at night. Spoke to an onsite security guard who had serviced TL for over 20 years and has never witnessed an incident at night. Feel safe here as security patrol during day and night. Great place to bring your kids to burn off some energy. Parents can enjoy a decent barrister style coffee at the cafe. From memory TL offers a rope climbing pyramid (kids love it) quater court basketball hoop on concrete pad, modern playground, functional strength and fitness apparatus (regular private PT and group fitness classes present) public gas powered BBQs, metal tables and benches, we'll maintained picnic areas, automated self-cleaning ablution block and of course, plenty of tress and fauna. Really requires lighting to be put up all around the lake and more around the kids playground area too for proper evening safety. Twilight and night hrs become very dark making it become quite unsafe from lack of visability. A child could very easily and quickly be out of view. It's potentially a child drowning accident waiting to happen. It's also a potentially perfect area for an adult to get attacked by an offender aswell bcoz of all of the walking pathways being without any lighting whatsoever. I live in this area and I love to visit this place frequently by myself but also with my young child.
