Nice looking, empty, and great dor snorkeling.

The beach is about 1.5km long & has a rock pool at the end closest to the Surf Lifesaving Club. It is ideal for young children, being sheltered and shallow with low rocks that our 5 year old happily jumped off into the pool. There is also a cafe with sand toys by the Surf Club.

At the other end are lots of tiny rock pools full of marine creatures that are also fun for children. That end of the beach is sheltered by a Headland which makes the sea very calm and perfect to swim in. We spent 10 days there and loved it. There is also a lovely coastal walk reached by a staircase at the North end of the beach.

The view down to Palm Beach and Manly is spectacular from Putty Beach. The waves are gentle and well suited to young children. It is located in Boudhi National Park and there is a delightful walk over the headland. Small rock pools to entertain. Never overcrowded. Lovely walk around to Killcare beach where you can dine at the restaurant or a fish wrap from the shop downstairs to enjoy with a byo. Highly recommend this beach....

This beach is a wonderful place for a day out. It's dog friendly too so it's really cute just to watch the dogs play. We will definitely come back with our dog. However some dog owners didn't pick up their dog's poo so just be ware. The walk is quite short from the car park but we still recommend to bring a beach trolley if you have young kids. There is no toilet around but there is fresh water to wash the sand off. There are also jelly fish in the sand so be sure to let the young ones know and advise them not to touch it. There is no shade so if you go with young children, make sure to dress them...

Putty Beach is a beautiful and expansive stretch of sand located at the southern end of the Bouddi National Park. It’s a favourite spot for both locals and visitors, offering calm waters ideal for swimming, and its gentle waves make it great for families. The beach is the starting point for the popular Bouddi Coastal Walk, which winds along the cliffs and offers stunning views of the coastline. Putty Beach is a fantastic spot for photography, offering expansive views from the point over Broken Bay, Lion Island, and the...
