I travelled with my friend an Hour and a half from Perth hoping to have an amazing time being able to ride quad bikes peacefully as we have had issues with these people in the past.
As we arrived we payed all the fees to enjoy the turns on the ATVâs for 30 mins. Within 5 minutes of riding my friend was going up a hill and tipped the quad bike on its side. We picked it up straight away and it turned on instantly with no damages as we observed the ATV to see if there is anything abnormal about it and everything seemed okay there was just a bit of sand on it which we lightly dusted off.
Seconds after this a worker came on an ATV and took the key out of my mates bike and said âYou tipped the bike you are done leave nowâ he said this with such aggression and didnât even make sure if he was okay. Terrible customer service.
Without much explanation the worker drove his quad bike back to where the payments are and me and my friend confused made our way over back to them to see what is going on and they said that my mate is not allowed to go back on any quad bikes. Which is ridiculous because we payed $80 for 30 minutes of ride time which we are entitled to but we only got to have a ride for not even 5 minutes.
We ask for our money back and they said they are keeping the $250 deposit due the tipping of the ATV.
They also continued to say that they need now the $250 of our deposit to service and âfixâ the quad bike which is not true at all because they service it themselves my replacing the oil, coolant etcâŚ
They didnât want to give us a cent of our money back which means all they care about is their money. As we were explaining to them that the ATV is fine after a little tip they continued to be stubborn because they just want to rob us for our money.
After an hour of arguing with them trying to get our money back we had no choice but to get the police involved.
After the cop has spoken to them on the phone they decided to give us half of our deposit because the deposit of $250 was for 2 bikes and only one of them were tipped over and the other one wasnât
After further arguing for them to give us a refund for our turns of $80 for half an hour of riding time we didnât receive they still didnât want to give it back to us.
Overall had a terrible experience I would never recommend this to anyone for they are scammers and just want you for your money.
This company should Be shut down nothing is good quality the quad bikes arenât looked after and the helmets were extremely unhygienic.
The workers were extremely rude and aggressive. They also used terrible language using swear words and one of the workers were vaping and smoking a cigarette while serving others which can cause someone to secondary smoke.
They donât even deserve one star due to how horrid the entire experience me and my friend...

Visiting Lancelin for a week and wanted to get out on the dunes and explore and this seemed like a good way to do it - trying to get the 4 seater buggy, but would have taken the 6
First time we went to the trailer counter at the dunes to be told we need to book online and they couldnt assist there and then. Hmm, ok, it is what it is.
Went back to accommodation, went online and could I find the 4 or 6 seater buggy to book? Nope. Not a damn word about them and what was bookable was a little difficult to find. Ok, let's head back to the dunes the next day in person to arrange.
So, the day after went back to the trailer counter to be met by a different person to be told the 4 seater is in maintenance and can't be booked. Ok what about the 6 seater? Oh that was booked for the day. Ok, can I book for another day, any day, am here for a week. No. I needed to ring the mobile number to find out whats free on what days. Really? Ok, it is what it is.
Go back to accommodation, ring number. No answer. Not even a voicemail. Then I get an automated text telling me to email. Now at the point to say I'm frustrated is a little understated.
So I email asking to book 4 or 6 seater and any day, what's free. To be emailed back:
"Yes, it's possible you just have to show up at lancelin the day you prefer. We are open from 10am to 5pm and we did the tour at 10am 1pm 3pm or you can hire for 30 min at any time."
Are you kidding me? So I need to turn up every day, early, hoping it's not booked and then if it is come back later and effectively leave the whole day open waiting to see what I can do, and basically use a day of the break just waiting to see if you're free. Crazy. Absolutely crazy
Why couldnt you just give a day, let me book and I'll turn up then, like any normal company.
So after 2 site visits, 1 phone call, 1 email - nothing.
You guys are a debacle and I was ready to go twice and spend $500 or so but instead you just messed around without your ridiculous system.
I live northern suburbs of Perth and would have been quite willing to pass on the good word for a great day out but frankly you guys need to sort yourselves out.

Despite providing evidence of the bike's condition at the time of return, they persisted in their unfounded claim and withheld my deposit. I urge potential customers to exercise caution when dealing with Company. Their dishonesty and lack of integrity make them an unreliable choice for bike rentals. It's disheartening to see a company prioritize deceit over customer satisfaction. Please Avoid them at all costs to spare yourself the frustration and financial loss. They literally deducted my $500 deposit with no proof that the part was broken by us they just blame us and refuse to listen or discuss by saying âwe need to go home as it was closing timeâ. ridiculous! you should learn how to run a business but Sorry you are here to eat peopleâs Money.
A side from the fraudulent behavior regarding security deposits, the condition of the equipment provided, particularly the helmets, was shockingly unhygienic. Upon renting a bike, I was provided with a helmet that was visibly dirty and showed signs of neglectful maintenance.
