I just wanted to share my experience with you. I work a really busy job in perth and came up to relax for a few days. I stayed at the caravan park next door for the first time. Every day I visited the dining reatraunt/pub. I was greeted by a lovely lady whom opened it up a little early for all us eager beavers waiting in the beer garden on aus day. All staff were so accomodating/friendly and were happy to have a joke. It made me want to return to lancelin in the very near future. I thank you all for being so cheerful and sharing your good energy. It made a massive difference to see this as it reminded me how important it is to just smile and take time to be kind. The food was exceptional on all occasions especially sitting out side with a late night sweet (churros) and a couple of coffees. Great view, atmosphere, staff.

We stayed at Lancelin Sands Hotel for one night on the way back from further North. I was very impressed with the restaurant location, right on the water with beautiful views of the ocean. There is also ample space for kids to run around. The breakfast was also delicious - I have to say better than I anticipated. I had the mushroom sourdough toast with pesto and eggs, hubby had bacon and eggs and the kids had pancakes. All the meals were great. The service was also very friendly. The hotel has been painted since the photos on Google - it’s now in tones like black, white and beige which has freshened it up and modernised it significantly. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. Overall I would definitely purely recommend and stay here again!

The people that run this hotel are fabulous. Think their names were mick and nola(really hope i got that right, so embarrassing if i havent). We were stuck outside of town and they helped us get back into town, got us a room and fed us. We're very appreciative of all they did to help us. We had somewhere to stay for the night while we waited for our tow the next day. It was a cute little hotel right next to a lovely look out and the beach. The view of the stars, and sound of the ocean from this hotel was lovely. Quiet, peaceful and had a real coastal town vibe. We even got glimpses of ocean from our balcony. Which was an unexpected suprise.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at 3 Emu sands hotel was so dismal it warrants one.||First off, it took an absurd 1 hour and 30 minutes for our food to arrive. By the time it finally did, the meals were stone cold—not even warm enough to be passable. To make matters worse, several of the ingredients were missing from our dishes, making them feel incomplete and poorly prepared. I had ordered something with a side of fresh vegetables, and instead, what arrived was a sad, barren plate of food.||The service was equally dreadful. The waitstaff seemed completely disoriented, as though they had no idea what was going on. We had to flag them down multiple times for basic requests, and when we asked for water refills, they seemed utterly lost. It was honestly frustrating and a bit uncomfortable.||My steak sandwich was had utterly despicable and it almost made me gag, and the price wasn’t even reasonable either. Another poor mistake, they had ran out of stake knifes and made us use butter knifes to cut our steak sandwiches.||All in all, the entire experience was a disaster. The food was cold, incomplete, and poorly presented, and the service was chaotic and unprofessional. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place unless you're in the mood for a long wait and disappointment. There are plenty of other restaurants nearby that will treat you better and serve you food that's actually...

I’m sick and tired of putting up with sub-standard food just because you’re out of Perth Metro. It feels like you’re a captive audience so there is no accountability, no pride in the offering and they just want to rip you off. The worst steak sandwich I’ve ever had, why would you serve it up on a cheap burger bun that can’t handle the fat and juices? The “steak” wasn’t seasoned, wasn’t even big enough to fill the bun and was so chewy my dogs got most of it. There’s a reason why every decent eaterie puts it on a Turkish roll or sourdough bread. The ploughman’s was a joke, no crackers, just really tired bread that was obviously left over from breakfast, an eggplant side that was nowhere near baba ganoush with no flavour and for some reason had a side of calamari which the menu made no reference to. The Caesar salad was limp and there was no sign of any anchovies, the kids chicken tenders are now bouncing round our backyard as even the dogs found them too chewy. We paid $200 for our meal and it was so dreadful I recommend you give this place a very...

The restaurant is the jewel here, wonderful food, served quickly with a smile, and you certainly won't go hungry very generous portions.. Our accommodation however left a lot to be desired. The day we arrived it was 30C. The aircon didn't work, it just hummed, must have been at least 30yrs old and looked very tired. No hot water for showers, that was soon rectified as it was just an extinguished pilot light. Exhaust fan in the toilet/shower just hummed and didn't rotate, possibly a fire risk as when I removed the cover, the fan motor was hot and locked solid and filthy dirty to boot. Never cleaned imho. Old tired mattresses on the beds. No bathmats, I'd expect a lot better for $180 per night. Ah yes, the night, screeching tyres in the carpark, police in attendance, loud music from other guests until the early hours...Not a lot of sleep to be had.. What can I say ? Not a great experience, badly in need of some serious renovation in the parts that we saw. Would definitely eat there again but would probably look for somewhere...
