Their location is after you turn into the sand dunes, down the unpaved path (it's safe for all cars). I've hired quad bikes (2-5) from these guys on a few occasions. You get an hour on them for $90 (for free roaming), which I think is a great price given the quality of their rides and customer service - just make sure that you have enclosed shoes and sunglasses! They provide the helmet, but you can bring your own too if you have a dirt bike or a motorcycle helmet. You have to pay a bond on the quad bike, which is held with your ID, but you get it right back when you finish up, I'm forgetful and when I'm about to walk off they shout out to remind me. :)

If you're not super adventurous or nervous on the quads, you're probably better off taking a guided tour or sitting in one of their karts while some else drives. The more brave you are when free roaming, the more fun you'll have!

We also hire the sandboards from them, it's so convenient and sometimes cheaper than the local shops outside of the sand dunes. Try to find a smooth one without rock grooves from misuse and you'll be set. They usually keep them in good condition - the last time I went the boards were all new, and were a great slide when you put a bit of wax on them (provided).

Great customer service, I always call them in advance to check they're all good to go on the day I plan to go down and they are always super friendly on the phone and in-person. They even gave free bottles of water on a hot long weekend, talk...

Worst place ever. Choose the neighbouring companies over this one. I was not offered a guided tour as it was "too busy", so was forced to ride with my two 15-year-olds alone under "supervision". Both their quadbikes broke down twice and it took about 15 minutes for someone to come and help, so we were not "supervised" well enough. I ended up having to take a sharp turn to avoid the overly rocky terrain and fell off the bike, breaking my collarbone. A lady came and didn't offer any first aid at all, instead forced me (the injured person) to help lift the quadbike out of the sand. I was then forced to ride back to the starting point and park the bike, all while maintaining a broken collarbone. The unequivocally mentally incapacitated owner began yelling about who broke his quad bike and insulted me instead of providing any medical attention, despite me stating my injury and saying I needed to get to hospital.

The quadbike isn't any more broken than it was before, and I'm now six weeks in a sling thanks to not offering a guided tour and allowing people to ride under the false premise of being "supervised". The owner and staff have no regard for the safety of their riders and are only in it for a quick buck $$. If I could still write, there would be a lawsuit on your doorstep. Expect it freshly...

Went there with friends. In fairness when i asked my friends, they said they enjoyed the adventure (except those who got stuck in the sand because their tank was leaking. It was so hot, feel sorry for them, but for the rest of my friends, they said it's good fun especially if its your first time, won't come back again though. But I give 1 star for bad experience with their customer service. Staff are very rude. They literally no respect at all, we asked a question and due to accent, we don't understand completely, but when we asked them for the secind time, staff answered "i just said 3 seconds ago......" blah blah blah... so rude. What kind of service is that? And in their website it says kids 13 years old below are free, nah... it's a lie. They charge 4 year old kid. They sound greedy. And oh in their website they don't mention paying a deposit when u ride. I suggest if you go there, bring cash with you as they won't give back your deposit straight away. It will be refunded after 7 days? Will update this review how long would it take to receive the refund. And before I forget, their helmets too, oh gosh so dodgy. Looks unhygienic. Smell and feel sweaty, mind you, we were second batch so, maybe going there first batch is "probably" better....

Had a fun and enjoyable quad drive across the sand dunes in a convoy manner. The place is huge and I appreciate the organised tour with a lead in front and a sweeper behind. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We dropped out sunnies and the sweeper picked them all up! However the gear up process sucks! We placed the order on the spot and was given a tour time 10 mins away, so we proceeded to the gear up area. Despite showing the staff the post-it-note of our time, no one told us anything and we waited more than 15-20 mins. A tour bus group rocked up and they proceeded to board the quad/buggy. Within mins, an unhappy man (owner) rocked up and began to complain/shout that we're slow to gear up?! We're left questioning: is it full face helmet or open face? What are the sizes as we can't fit (helmets too small, many without size markings). Goggles or sunnies? Again, staff were friendly but the owner behaved like a military man, shouting commands and looking to rough things out. You must keep an open mind and don't let this spoil your day. Not extreme at all, suitable for kids.

Really good value for money, we had a great experience and I highly recommend this business. They are really nice guys and easy to deal with. I must admit I was a little concerned with all the negative reviews and I actually asked them about it and they told me that sometimes customers are very difficult to deal with which I understand being a business owner myself. It’s funny how when people have something negative to say they usually go straight on google and leave a negative review, but they never take the time to just review a business for doing a great job! Can’t wait to come back to Lancelin and take the buggy out again!!! Once again thanks guys👍🏼

We went up to Lancelin on the Easter Monday and had an excellent time enjoying the driving the beach buggy and sandboarding on the dunes. With the beach buggy, you follow the tour guide on the quad bike where you can ease off to fall behind and accelerate to catch up. Which was lots of fun. Tip with the sandboarding is to make sure to use the wax before heading out as some boards do stick to the sand without the wax. MrXtreme Thrill experience from booking, customer service and help was fanatasic.
