The kids love ACP! Since the logan city council upgrades to the park there’s something for everyone. - full basketball court with hoops that spin and turn round for netball. A very baby safe water splash area next to swings, flying fox and giant koala shaped cubby house. There’s a biking loop for kids and a longer walk path along the river where you can spot wild koalas and other wildlife. The bathrooms got an upgrade too, the weekends get very very very busy and popular with kids birthdays with ‘those’ parents claiming the good spots early in the morning! Could do with more toilet paper and hand soap. Also better bins that people can put party rubbish bin bags in.

Great place to walk your dog, have a picnic or kick a ball with the family. There are several sets of swings throughout the park a monorail, 2 x fenced dog parks with agility equipment and lots of bbqs. There is even a Frisbee golf course if that's what you are into. Dogs must stay on leash through the parklands as there is lots of native wildlife such as scrub turkeys. I saw a koala and its joey strolling between trees the other day, so please be responsible with your pets.

Went here with two kids under 1 and two kids under 5 and fun was had by all! Water park has a button that you press to activate. It can be really sunny and hot during the day in the summer but we came in the later arvo so we had some nice heat but also some great shade and breeze. The rest of the park is huge and worth walking around, lots of mini play areas along the paths that run throughout the park which make for a good family walk

Has a great dog park with small and large dog areas. Plenty of seating inside the dog areas and shade and water for your canine companions and us also. For the not so social a large long walking track starts near the public toilets and goes all the way round for approx 1.5km which also suited us for having a scooter ride with the kids. The huge open parklands are amazing for football, frizbee or kites etc. And then there's the oval shaped train track, with pedal bikes to give the legs a work out kids and adults alike! And a cool kids playground with swings, merry go round, climbing and some water fun with hand pumped water to play with. Also has wood burning fireplace/bbqs for sausages etc and picnic tables for those who prefer that or want to have a family gathering? A favourite spot not to far away from the highway .... but alot would not...
