Please beware of buying trees from this place. I purchased a 100L Tuckeroo tree from Logan River Tree Farm. I inspected it on site before it was delivered and it looked great. When it was delivered there were some small areas of the leaves that seemed to have been eaten by insects, but I initially ignored it (thinking it wasn't an issue). After a few days the damage became worse and about 10% of the leaves were affected. I called Logan River Tree Farm to inform them of what had been occurring and they told me to treat it with an insecticide, but at the same time suggested that the damage wouldn't have come from their farm because the trees are regularly treated and inspected. Over several conservations and emails they continued to assert that the insect damage couldn't have arisen from their farm. The insect damage continued to get worse despite the recommended treatment. When asked what they would do in the event the insecticide (that had apparently been used on the tree only days before the delivery) didn't work they tried their best not to answer the question - simply repeating that it will work. Finally, I was told that they do guarantee the quality of their trees on delivery but not after - again suggesting the damage wasn't there when it was delivered because I had taken several days to report it. Hopefully, the tree will not be permantly damaged but the after sales customer service I received was disgusting and their continued denial that the damage could have possibly occurred on their farm was extremely frustrating. They provided no reassurance and were non-apologetic about the issue. My advice to anyone silly enough to buy a tree from these people again - take photos when you choose it and when it is delivered and call them straight away if there is any issue. Otherwise they won't...
Read moreMultiple diseased plants sold - poor customer service response.
We purchased replacement plants from Logan Tree Farm after initial plants failed. Unfortunately, all four replacement plants (2 lemon myrtles, 2 Alexanders) arrived with early signs of fungal disease that rapidly progressed to almost complete plant failure within two weeks.
The symptoms - brown spotting, yellowing, leaf dieback, and blight - strongly indicate rhizoctonia solani or anthracnose, serious fungal disease that likely affected our original purchase as well. Despite keeping plants in optimal conditions (still in their original bags, careful watering schedule), the disease progressed rapidly in winter conditions.
We contacted the owners via email detailing the issue and requesting collection of the diseased plants and a refund. Unfortunately, our communication has been completely ignored despite the clear plant health issues and reasonable requests with photographic evidence.
While the initial service was friendly, the lack of response to a legitimate plant disease complaint is very disappointing. Other customers should be aware that plant health guarantees may not be honoured.
Given our experience, would not recommend based on plant quality and customer...
Read moreHad a really positive experience with Logan River Tree Farm. I went there to assist my elderly grandmother who’s English was poor. Megan was on site and took the time to show me all the options for what we wanted, her knowledge was incredible and was extremely patient helping my grandmother find exactly what she wanted. Prices were good, huge range and delivery was very cheap compared to competition.
I was there with my two year old daughter whom they let ride in there buggy and look at the fish inside their office. She also had a great experience.
Marty was the delivery driver he was very friendly and went above and beyond to give expert advice on how to plant, what pots to use and how to maintain.
I will be recommended this business to my friendly and family, if you don’t live local (which we don’t) it is definitely worth the...
