Blackburn Sanctuary Lake is a hidden gem that offers a peaceful and serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The lake itself is surrounded by lush greenery and provides a tranquil setting for relaxation and reflection. The walking trails around the lake are well-maintained and offer a pleasant stroll amidst nature. The park also features picnic areas, making it a great spot for a family outing or a peaceful lunch in nature. The wildlife at Blackburn Sanctuary Lake is abundant, with various bird species and other animals calling this place home. Nature enthusiasts will appreciate the opportunity to observe and appreciate the local flora and fauna. Overall, Blackburn Sanctuary Lake is a beautiful and serene destination that offers a refreshing break from the city.

Blackburn Lake Sanctuary really suits the name. The lakes are the beautiful and peaceful sanctuary for the wildlife. Birds and ducks swim and gather to feed in the water. The walking trails are good for jogging but not very good for cycling. I want to eat snacks in this suburb but there are many flies. Picnicking is good if you don’t mind the insects. Remember not to feed the ducks or birds. Feeding wildlife actually harms them and pollutes the environment and ecosystem. Kids may feel bored because it lacks a large area for group sports or run around. There are special plants, flora and fauna special. Car parking is convenient.

That trip to Blackburn Lake Sanctuary was awesome! The place is a big reserve with a huge playground. After that, we went to the Visitor Information Centre, which is only open on Sundays from 2 pm to 4 pm. Nevertheless, it was incredible! The whole family listened to the guide's explanations and saw the amazing entomological work there. My daughters learned a lot about the animals and insects that inhabit the reserve. What a great experience! Then we walked around the lake on various trails, about 1.5 kilometres, admiring the beautiful scenery surrounding the lake.

We love it here! Both taking a casual walk, relaxing stroll and having a chill picnic on any day.

Totally a charming and and serene escape that offers a perfect blend of nature and tranquility. This park is well-maintained walking trails that wind around a stunning lake, providing picturesque views of the waterand trees. It's an excellent spot for duck/ birdwatching, with various species often seen near the water's edge.

The playground is well-equipped and safe, making it ideal for kids, while the open grassy areas are perfect for a casual game of frisbee or just relaxing on a sunny day.

There are several picnic areas with clean facilities, making it a great spot for family outings or a quiet afternoon with friends. There are also shaded benches along the trails, offering peaceful spots to sit and take in the surroundings.

There is also ample parking both a dedicated one and...
