Showgrounds Village — Attraction in Melbourne

Handy to have shops so close to home, Coles, bakery, newsagents, cafe, nail salon, take away food etc, but it was disappointing to see the little target shop go! It Also sucked when ANZ shut, because there isn't one real close by, the place also took away a westpac atm, so now there is only a commonwealth ATM inside the place & now they have taken away the only outside ATM the bendigo bank ATM is no longer there, so late at night people that don't have a car are stuck having to walk to far to the next ATM! Down Union road, which isn't real far during the day, but way to far if its night time!! So the village needs an ATM outside....a NAB ATM...

The Coles here is always low on stock of things like baby wipes and cat litter, and I've had multiple experiences of not enough check outs open for trolleys. It makes it hard to do a shop with a under 2yrold when you are made to stand in the queue for 20 minutes before they decide to open another register. There is also a few people who sit outside the doors to the entry way who smoke and drink which can be a deterrent. Security...

A nice little shopping strip conviently located near Flemington racecourse A big Coles supermarket , reject shop, liquor stores bakery and many fine take away food shops.When finished eating burn off a few calories at the fully equipped Gym or see the Dr's on site for any ailments that you might have. Finish off your day with a fine meal at Paccinos Pizzeria and restaurant...Well...
