...Trig Point Lookout is located within the Royal Botanic Gardens in Cranbourne. It is set in a natural bush-land area with walking & bike tracks and it's free with beautiful 360° views especially on a sunny Spring/Summer/Autumn day ~ Enjoy! : )

Views were slightly hindered due to the smoke from burnoffs, however, we could still see Melbourne city skyline and parts of Westernport Bay. Visit this sturdy lookout on a day with little or no wind otherwise, hold on tight to your hats!

The lookout was good, the walking trail that lead to the Trig point lookout, there were several wallabies around and during our time if visit, it was nesting season for a bird, so recommend everyone to carry sticks during the walk

Who doesn't love a good trig station? Well not many people know what one is and for this one let's keep it simple - it's a lookout which is free to use. Great free attraction that is part of the Roytal Botanic Gardens in Cranbourne. The walk up to the top is a little steep but doesn't take long - about 400m. Certainly not for someone in a wheelchair although at the base it's fine. At the top is the Trig Point observation deck which has stunning views over the bushland and gardens plus views out to both Westernport Bay and Port Phillip Bay. On a clear day you'll see Mt Dandenong. If you can make it, come along for some...
