Beautiful beach conveniently located on the Fleurieu Peninsula, approximately an hour or so from Adelaide. Long beach ideal for good long walks with your pooch or just solo walks. This beach ⛱ seems to be a very popular spot with surfers 🏄‍♂️ 🏄‍♀️ and there were quite a few around. The waves 🌊 didn't seem very large to intimidate newbie surfers but just enough to keep the better ones interested. The carpark located off Chapman Road was quite adequate and there was plenty of space available (visited in the middle of the week). Good beach for beginner surfers or those riding longer boards as the waves are less powerful than Waits or Parsons. The waves are sometimes messy but it can produce some beautiful glassy rolling ones with the right conditions.

The beach itself is kept clean and has plenty of space so you can get away from others. Areas near carparks can get crowded though if you're not willing to head up or down the beach. Facilities are nice with toilets at several parks and bins + doggy bags provided for people with pets at most spots too.
