Beach Huts Middleton — Local services in Middleton

We recently spent a couple of nights at the Middleton Beach Huts, Henley ours was named, and what a delight it was. The room was large and bright, the air conditioner more than adequate, but it was the little things and thoughtful inclusions that made our stay so enjoyable. All the linen was of good quality, the towels large and fluffy, and the kitchen well stocked. We arrived later in the evening, and our room had a welcoming light on and airconditioner running to take the chill off when we walked inside, a couple of chocolates, and a bottle of bubbly in the fridge, the perfect welcome :) and the bed was firm and supporting without being hard. The huts themselves are only minutes walk from the beach ( note that there is a bit of a hill back up to the huts for those who are mobility impaired ), and then you are in a world of surfers, dolphins and although we were late in the season and lucked out, obviously whales at the right time of year. A short walk back toward Port Elliot and you are at the magnificent Bashams beach, and recharging without thinking about it. The huts themselves are spread around a central garden, grass and tennis court area, which was in spring bloom and delightful. The tennis court was well used by a few youngsters, it's a very family friendly place and the restaurant turned out a superb meal ( reviewed separately ) All in all it was a lovely escape and we would return without hesitation, although we'd probably plan on staying a little longer to enjoy all the coast, and the huts have to offer. Port Elliot, Goolwa, Victor Harbour, Middleton itself are all only a short jump...

An absolute dream staying here for two nights. The chalets have been renovated & styled to a very high standard & yet the Huts still retain the charm & quaintness of days gone by being set in gorgeous cottage gardens complete with Tennis court & Pavillion (Town Hall) - the fire was roaring in the Town Hall & the oversized long rustic dining table - full kitchen & selection of books to peruse had us ready to set up camp in here for the evening ... Loved the original stone floor in here & the many old artefacts both here, & around the property - so much to look at - may we congratulate the owners on their attention to detail...Middleton Beach Huts has it in spades! ... If the weather had played ball we would have loved a game of pentanque on the immaculately manicured lawn just outside the Pavillion - can imagine garden parties & parasols adorning that lawn in summer... The beach is just a short walk away - we enjoyed a very brisk early morning walk along the beach & then back to our Hut for hot steaming coffee - courtesy of the Nespresso machine we were delighted to find on our arrival! Also really appreciated having our own carport right beside our hut... & the deck & outdoor seating area was a real bonus too - managed to have our brekkie out here during a brief respite in the weather one morning... worth embracing the chilly morning for the view of the garden & all the other adorable most 'picture...

We held our small wedding at Beach Huts Middleton and couldn't be more pleased. Of all our vendors they were the best to work with. Dave and his team provide a quality service in so many aspects which, as a small business owner myself, I can appreciate the hard work that goes into that! Communication during the process was so easy, emails responded to promptly, requests handled professionally and Dave always has a willingness to help. On the big day he was there behind the scenes making sure everything ran smoothly for us.

The huts are absolutely gorgeous and kept immaculate, the facilities are top notch. And the grounds! Wow. Beautiful gardens, lots of bird visitors. Sitting on our deck of a morning with a cup of tea listening to the birds and looking out over the gardens was just lovely. Our guests could not get over how beautiful and accommodating the venue was - we had so many compliments on our choice! The Village Hall provided a wonderful space to hang out in the evening or for a lazy breakfast, the lawns and tennis court perfect for games. Can not speak highly enough to the wonderful experience we had at Beach Huts Middleton, they are a venue well deserving of all the praise they receive! We are already booked in for another stay anniversary 10 months from now and are so looking forward to another relaxing stay at this...
