Could not have asked for our wedding reception to go any better than it did and that is thanks to Mark and his team at Blues Restaurant!

Mark was lovely to deal with throughout the planning process and just very easy to talk to and bounce ideas off. He made us feel very relaxed and in safe hands so we knew we had made the right choice after our first meeting.

The food was absolutely delicious and certainly no one went hungry!! We opted for a 'family-style' shared plate option, for a more relaxed feel and it went down so well - everyone loved the food! Mark accommodated for my Mum & Aunt and made them special dishes as they are pescatarian and there were also some vegetarian options available. The chicken, lamb, potatoes and salads were divine and served beautifully and Mark even wrapped up all of the leftovers for us as he knew the bridal party and families were staying at the venue for the next few days and we dined off the leftovers happily for the next couple of days!

We even got to cut our cake with their Vera Wang cake knife so our photos of our cake looked stunning too.

Mark made the bridal party entrances seamless and hyped us up and coordinated food service around speeches, smoothly.

When the party started, Mark and the bar staff were having a laugh with everyone and we loved chatting to him the next day about all the fun!

Our hired items and flowers were all packed up nicely for us and Blues didn't rush us the next day to remove anything - it was all very relaxed, which was great as we had lots of friends and family over from the UK for a holiday so had a jam packed itinerary after the wedding!

We hope to come back and visit Blues and catch up with Mark every year on our anniversary as he really did make our wedding day so special! So many of our guests said it was the best wedding they had every been to and we think Blues Restaurant was the perfect wedding...

Enjoyed a dinner at Blues on a Saturday evening with family who had joined us for the weekend. The restaurant is nicely decorated, light and breezy with comfortable chairs and good sized tables. Patrons are well spaced. Our meal was delightful. I chose the vegan option, my partner the gnocchi, our guests the barramundi and the pork. All meals were beautifully presented and beautifully cooked and prepared as well as tasty with well sized portions. Service was excellent. We booked for 6.30pm forgetting the Crows were playing their first match for the season with the game finishing closer to 7pm, called ahead to say we would be 30 minutes later and there were no issues. We opted for dessert after the main and these were delicious also. We will be returning regularly as we find Blues is an excellent spot for a delicious meal in comfortable and delightful surroundings. Will return again in the cooler months hoping to get a spot in front of the fire. Highly recommend this spot for a night out.

Returned to Blues tonight for dinner with friends…..2 years after my earlier review and happy to say that the meals were excellent, the service remains excellent and the venue comfortable and welcoming. So pleased that this is a reliable local venue for a really delicious, fresh meal. Full marks for a consistently...

Havent been to this restaurant.As like many in these towns.Theyre not too tourist focussed.Not set up with comfy weather protective alfresco given beaut ocean views. it gets bitey cold down here.Not dog friendly f dining outside.yet accomodation is pet friendly everywhere here.Just cant go eat out.Not open f nice restaurant meal f lunch.With lunch menu prices.Many cafes close early.Nor offer pension discounts to get them venturing out.,not open every day,or,evening.closed till thurs.phaps if this restaurant cld open f lunch jst 2 week days.Well,we head off tday back home.Patronise cafes n restaurants there.But,wldv been nice while on hols.I think the councils need to do more to,to help sml business in these tourist towns.rates discount f enable being open lunch,or every night as some are closed till thursday. Assist with alfresco areas for flexibility with pets etc.Offer ocean rd pckges,get Tourist only vouchers discounts to main attractiins and places to eat.pre purchase.Apathetic.Talk about travel in y own country,or,state..SA Businesses cld be more Innovative n Tourist driven ideas.Especially all these country towns. Financial assistance to develop them a bit more.Tourist friendly.Create more attractiions..Less cafes so they can prosper...
