A wonderful place to see our history which tells a story of 2 brothers WB & George Chaffey who came from USA Ontario California & sore the value in the rich soil terra firma here in Mildura.A fantastic story of human insight involving pure grit, strength, persistence, perserverence & humility.Several buildings to see that takes you back in time to the 1850's onwards. A real shame that we didn't take care of it all in the first place as most of it has been replicated. Still it's great the Council & community has put some love back into it to bring it all back to life for all of us to see & learn a piece of Aussie history & share in.Its along the Murray aswell.Enjoyed it. P. S we donated a few gold coins at the entrance. It all helps to keep it for future...

No signage at the front entrance to say buildings closed or when when they would be opened. Some buildings and displays actually falling apart. It needs some urgent and significant improvements. Opportunity for some service...

Plenty of potential here for the Council (or one of the local history groups) to open these buildings on a more regular basis. I had high expectations for this important part of Mildura's history. Unfortunately, the reality did not overly impress. Here are...
