Well worth taking the walk or ride along the easy 5km river trail with its many interesting features. The lock is impressive, its size and the amount of water it holds back. The work that went into building this and the engineering behind it is impressive. Alongside the lock is a flood marker board, I was blown away with flood heights with 1870 being a big one.
