A must do & see if going to Millthorpe. We spent a great couple hours today wandering around the gorgeous grounds with so much to see in the 8 buildings available to explore. Lovely staff on hand to get further information from & have a nice chat with. Ruth & the two gentlemen who welcomed us in at the start made it all the more pleasant too. Apart from the amazing history of the region we were taken by the Trevor Pascoe Pavilion showcasing all Australian inventions, the sheer volume just amazing. We will certainly spread the word. Thanks for educating us further....

Very well organized and pros are widely recognized throughout the displays. Going through decades of farming, agriculture, home life, vehicles and so much more. Attention to detail with obvious dedication to clean and consistent maintenance of all areas. Outside is just as impressive with garden art, metal work and attention to detail wherever you look. Some of the old steam and tractor are interactive with short videos of some of the more popular models. With several building to see, allow yourself at...

Incredible! A big thank you to the many volunteers who maintain the heritage of Millthorpe for our ancestors and generations to come in this wonderful museum. A special thank you to Rose, Phil and Hayley who have gone out their way to help me get as much information and images of my family history, the "Rockliff" family as possible. Millthorpe is a tiny town but big on history and heart. If you come to Bathurst, make sure you visit the village of...

A wonderful experience for all ages! The working machinery is a highlight, the displays incredibly clean, well presented and informative. So much to see in the multiple buildings, we took a lunch break! Allow yourself at least 2 hours for a good look around as there are items of all sorts that catch your eye. Both educational for the younger and nostalgic for the older, this Museum has something for everyone and local knowledge from the guides. A must see in Millthorpe.

Great museum full of Fantastic artefacts and Aussie inventions, some displays you can operate via push button. There are 8 buildings to look through, which were well laid out and the whole complex was very well maintained. A credit to the town, contributors and team of volunteers who must have put in thousands of hours of work. We were visiting Orange and it was well worth the 20 minute drive to visit the museum and the rest of the town. Well done Millthorpe.
