Nestled in the quaint town of Milthorpe, Slow Wine Company's cellar door offers a delightful escape into the world of good wines and delectable tapas. Our recent visit to their Tapas Evening on a Friday night left me and my family impressed. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with warm hospitality and attentive service. Whether you're a seasoned wine connoisseur or a novice enthusiast, there's something to suit every palate. It also offers some lovely cocktails as well. As for the tapas menu, it was a culinary delight. Haloumi fries were crispy and very tasty, the baked Camembert with honey and thyme was a heavenly combination of savory and sweet, and the arancini balls with prosciutto were bursting with flavor. The ambiance at Slow Wine Company's cellar door was cozy and inviting and catered for couples and families with a relaxed atmosphere. It’s the perfect setting to unwind and savor the finer things in life. Overall, my experience at Slow Wine Company's Cellar Door Tapas Evening was wonderful. A survey from Australia once stated that women that drink 2 glasses of wine a day tend to enjoy sex more than women who don’t drink at all. So ladies drink up at the Slow Wine Co.

The wines were top notch (I tried the red ones) and the guy working there was super friendly. If I’m ever in the area again I’ll head straight over there again! 😅

Although it’s not located at the winery itself this was by far the best tasting we did all weekend. The owners took the time to talk to us and shared so much knowledge of not just their wines but the local area as well. I am not a huge wine drinker and I enjoyed a large variety of wines they had on offer. We will definitely be back to try...

Went for tata night, awesome food, better than a range of so called restaurants. Lamb is cooked to a perfect degree. And the steak wasabi tart is also one of the best dishes I ever taste in orange. Would recommend for dinner or date. For the wine. Merlot is a bit average, but the Pinot Noir is nice. Not very complex taste but...
