One of the best coffees I have ever had (they have bonsoy for the soy drinkers). We arrived in town just before close. They kindly accommodated us and let us order take aways. The food was delicious and high quality. They open early too which is great for getting on the road early. They have delicious food including cheese, prosciutto, local jams and honeys and other quality special treats. They were so kind to my daughter and made us feel welcome. Hope to come back again!

Hands down one of the best coffees I've tasted, even better than the ones in Sydney! Milthorpe is blessed to have such a great cafe in their little town. Staffs were absolutely warm and friendly. Lovely ambience. We stopped by to refresh ourselves after a long drive. Must say the coffee definitely helped to keep us bright awake plus they tasted great! Thanks for such a wonderful cafe.

Great coffee and yummy food. Had the muesli and yoghurt with generously served fruits, which I loved. The pesto chicken baguette was also very flavorsome. Loved the little cookie they served with the coffee and chai. Great street view seats available. Food does take longer to come as there were many take away customers coming in and out. Good breakfast place for a small bite.

Ordered $30 cheese platter and smoked salmon bagel for takeaway. For the platter, we were not given or asked what choices of cheese we'd get until I asked the lady manager that was in charge which seemed she was in a rush and didnt explain the options for the order and went back into kitchen. From my experience not all cheese types are available for the platter, when I asked for the smoked cheddar they had, was told by front service staff that relayed msg I could only get the chilli and lime or trufflien which I don't enjoy either. Size of the slice of each of the 3 cheese did seem a bit less as I saw a platter of same pricing elsewhere and compared serving but cheese quality was good. The salami must have been frozen as they were stuck together at first but taste was alright. Not too sure if the lack of hospitality was becos we were asian or not or if it's just lack of service on a busy Sat. Staffs at front service were helpful in asking the qs on behalf...

Strange experience here. Walked in and had to wait for the owner to finish his conversation with a regular for about 10 minutes while my family and I just stood there feeling awkward and wondering if we had somehow wondered into a local place that didn’t allow outsiders..

Look I get it, you’re a small business in a small country town and you have locals who you consider very important but at the end of the day , you also have tourists who travel from hours away to try your food and coffee and after unpleasant experiences such as this will never return. Judging by previous reviews, there’s lots of people who have thought the same thing.

If city cafes, with millions of customers from all over the world know how to approach new faces and greet new people then I’d hope country cafes would adopt similar attitudes....

I went there coming home from a weeks stay at orange and had been told Millthorpe was a nice place to stop off and have a drink. We decided to on this place and went inside and ordered. One thing I noticed is that the customer service is horrible if youare not a regular. They practically ignore you and they prioritise regulars orders over yours. When I finally got my chai latte after 15 minutes I tasted it and was surprised. I couldn’t taste any chai flavouring and thought ‘ the flavouring is probably just all at the bottom ‘ I stirred the drink and tasted the drink and was annoyed. These people literally made me pay $6 for a some hot milk and foam with a bit of power on top. Never coming back. 1/5 - customer...
