A truely beautiful restful And peaceful piece of heaven on earth . I spent my last day with my sophie - a beautiful caring loyal lovable rottie . People could learn a lot about trust loyalty love respect and support from special animals like her . I was in hospital the next day saddened by the loss of the only living body I could trust in earth . Abuse by family causes mental health issues one never recovers from. Betrayal by those you love is a life destroying experience . I feel very sorry for that beautiful dog Who I spent my last day at this very special place on earth . My dog sophie stayed very close to me that day as she must of knew it was going to be our last tìme on earth together. I only hope she is well and someone gives her 24 hour...

Beautiful landscape and lake scenery, nice grassed picnic sites around the lake and an interesting walk across the dam. Not suitable for swimming at all. There is heavy boat and jetski traffic. The edges of the lake are generally muddy, and you have to wade a distance to get to chest deep. The water around the edges was muddy owing to the boat wash. You need a jetski, boat, canoe or SUP. You can't swim out more than about 10m (still in the dirty water) owing to the boat traffic which is fast, towing tubes and skis, and some of it only 30m...
