Wind could happen yes a toilet is on site BBQs and sitting seating for seats. Some grass. Parking issues close by however lovely secluded and beautiful place. Fishermen and boats cruise in and out. It's a hidden gem. Cozy. We had a picnic there in a hot summer day and there was not hit at all. The breeze coming from the river was cooling, the sun was on the other side of the bay. Wow this used to be a lovely river side spot to relax and have a BBQ but in classic human nature it has been absolutely trashed and left looking like a dump. Rubbish everywhere, plastic bags, empty plastic bottles and the BBQ hasn't been cleaned by the last user. No longer a lovely place to enjoy a relaxing day...
