Beautiful water fall. This track has three major waterfall and it is stunning. Horseshoe Falls is situated in the Mt. Field National Park, and is a short 10 minute walk from the impressive Russell Falls, and about a 50 minute walk from Lady Barron Falls. The walking track is well maintained, meandering through some of Tasmania's best rainforests. The track has information / education signs along the way highlighting fauna and flora which is distinctly unique to the region. From Horseshoe Falls, it is approximately a 1 hour hike to Lady Barron Falls, along the Tall Trees circuit. This walk showcases the tall trees in the area, with information regarding the ecology of the region. I loved every minute of it. Make sure you have paid for a vehicle National park pass.

This is a falls that is located near the famous Russell Falls within the Mount Fields National Park. It can be conveniently added to the Russell Falls Short Walk as a detour if you want to see an additional cascading falls before returning back to the Visitor Centre. The falls are less impressive than Russell Falls but still nice to see if you enjoy waterfalls and/or are planning to combine the series of short walks that include Russell Falls, Horseshoe Falls, Tall Trees and Lady Baron Falls informally known as 'The Three Falls Circuit' that starts and finishes at the Visitor Centre.

Beautiful waterfall in a great area. Don't expect a impressive one, this falls are small, but really pretty. It is very accessible, maybe 15min walk from the car park, through nice rainforest. If you keep walking, you can see the impressive big eucalyptus (+60 m high). During the night, you may also be able to see glow worms just before Russell falls.

Beautiful waterfall, worth walking a good deal of steps to get there. Unfortunately it can not compare to Russells Falls which is the first one you come to. The Devonshire Tea at the Info Centre was great after all the walking and the amenities were excellent. It does cost $40 for a car day pass for this National Park, the same cost as others, so make sure if you are going to more than one National Park to get the 2 month National Park pass. It’s $80 (equal to 2 x National Park day passes)...
