This museum is one the best in CQ and for railway enthusiasts, it boasts the last 2 ABT 0-4-0 locomotives used on the Mt Morgan line. A QR 1960s Rail Motor 2014 has been restored and can be accessed by visitors. There is an excellent 20 min audiovisual movie with a 3D view part that covers the history of the line and the ABT rack system, one of two in Australia. Entry is $5.50 (no concession). The Mount Morgan Railway Station has been fully restored to its former glory and houses the Information Centre and museum, which showcases an extensive collection of historic railway material. Shouldn't be harsh, it's one of two museums in town, didn't have time to investigate the other, but perhaps the two museums could get together and offer discounted entry to both sites?
