Another absolutely fascinating country museum. A $10 entry (concessions and discounts available) gets you access to three floors of local and farming history as well as a range of outbuildings including a complete schoolroom, relocated original buildings and loads of old machinery. There's a beautifully detailed model railway and decent shop. The main building is also home to the tourist information center. The only thing I'd have liked to have seen was some more information about some of the machines in the grounds - I thought I could recognize or, at least, figure out the purpose of most farm kit but some of these old machines left me...

You don't get that anywhere anymore. Three cheers straight up for that! We thoroughly enjoyed meandering around at our lesiure, some very interesting stuff and lots of memories and educational information. Fantastic entry price. Museum itself has lot of reading to do with the instruments on display only. Difficult to keep kids interested as lots of reading with no actual demonstrations or interactive medium. Shop outside is alright , couldn't find any outstanding souvenir as such. Overall a decent look out. Wool industry or related folks might find it more...
