Another absolutely fascinating country museum. A $10 entry (concessions and discounts available) gets you access to three floors of local and farming history as well as a range of outbuildings including a complete schoolroom, relocated original buildings and loads of old machinery. There's a beautifully detailed model railway and decent shop. The main building is also home to the tourist information center. The only thing I'd have liked to have seen was some more information about some of the machines in the grounds - I thought I could recognize or, at least, figure out the purpose of most farm kit but some of these old machines left me scratching my head.

This is a really worthwhile museum to visit. It is part of the Visitor Information Centre and close to the town centre. It takes a comprehensive approach to the wool industry in Australia that goes beyond the more commonly known narrative. I particularly liked its focus on contemporary times, both practices and policies, such as land overclearing, conservation and new technologies. The gift shop is also very good, and the staff were lovely.

We (2 adults + 3 kids) really enjoyed our visit. We spent about 75 minutes. The staff were really great. The displays were really great. The history of the area plus a number of buildings from the region have been brought to this site. Our kids loved the school building. Fun place to visit, interesting for everyone and a great location.

Amazing experience, lovely welcome from the beautiful ladies at reception. Really ladies, well done for your kind and interested interaction when we walked in. You don't get that anywhere anymore. Three cheers straight up for that! We thoroughly enjoyed meandering around at our lesiure, some very interesting stuff and lots of memories and educational information. Fantastic entry price. The model train was a blast(make sure you give a gold coin-well worth it). Loved this place. Keep up the good...

Small area with around 10 sheds to visit and know about wool industry. The staff is very friendly and always hold a warm gesture. Museum itself has lot of reading to do with the instruments on display only. Difficult to keep kids interested as lots of reading with no actual demonstrations or interactive medium. Shop outside is alright , couldn't find any outstanding souvenir as such. Overall a decent look out. Wool industry or related folks might find it more...
