This place is a little hidden gem for kids, and for a weekday visit with my 2.5 & 3.5 year old it was perfect, giving me some much needed hands free time.
Entry for under 4 y/o’s is only $9 which for our 2.5 hour visit is great! The cleanliness compared to some other centres I’ve been to was amazing and service great also.
There was plenty for my little ones to do which enabled me to stay longer and chill on the chairs and conveniently placed benches throughout the play centre to keep an eye on the kids. The huge play ground, dino dig, various dino activities and of course the awesome dinosaurs that move kept them very entertained. These huge dinosaurs are positioned behind walls surrounding the large playground, so if your little one is scared (like one of mine was), they don’t have to look at them.
All in all as a local w 2 crazy kids, this place is perfect to tire out the little ones and get some hands free time, if your kids love a good playground. It’s obvious the owners love what they do as everything is well thought out for the kids, and well maintained.

Read moreBad experience with rude staff. We had my 4 year old’s birthday party at Explorasaurus, and because we only had 5 kids coming and the website notes that you need a minimum of 10 children to hire the party room, I called the centre to check if it was ok if we can just pull together some tables on the day. They said they had no problem with this and are flexible with these arrangements. We also got approval for bringing in our own cake and supplying our own plates and cutlery. We turn up on the day and the staff were very rude to us and told us off for making these arrangements, saying they wouldn’t allow it. However, we were already there and assured them we would buy their food and clean up after ourselves so they let us stay. Honestly I will probably not come here again just because of the rudeness that I experienced and embarrassment in front of the party guests.
However, the kids had a great time and the equipment was well maintained and clean. Only giving 2 stars because...
Read moreVERY dirty and rundown. A girlfriend shouted us a trip here a few weeks back with a scoopon voucher she bought. I've visited quite a few indoor playgrounds and I know they get a hammering, but this one was noticeably dirty and rundown. The toilets were filthy, most of the toilet paper had run out as had all of the hand soap in all of the bathrooms. I could maybe understand if it was school holidays and packed with kids but it was a week day during school term and hardly anyone there. In a place directly aimed at catering to young children, clean, well equiped toilets/changing facilities are essential. At the very least you need to be able to wash hands! Not impressed, not likely to return. Glad I didn't have to pay, just sorry my girlfriend did though. Needless to say the kids were oblivious to all that and still had...
