Check Pizza size!!! I have ordered from them multiple times via DoorDash as I have been recovering from an injury. On DoorDash they list a 13 inch pizza which is what they give you. I recently decided I’d go pick the pizzas so I called them and ordered. First off the customer service was terrible the guy was horrible at communicating. Here’s the gist of the convo with all the frustrating parts cut out “I’d like 2 pizzas”. “Large or Small?”. “Is large the 13 inch pizza?” “Yes large is 13 inches”. “Ok I’d like 2 large pizzas”. Then I went and picked them up. As I had previous good experiences with them I didn’t even think to check. After getting home, I noticed the pizzas looked significantly smaller than last time. They barely took up 3/4 of the box. I decided to try measuring it. On the widest part of the bigger pizza it was 9.5 inches. Thought to myself what a scam after he assured me it was 13 inches. I decided to call back to ask about which he just repeatedly said no our large size is 12 inches which I can assure you the pizza is. I know it’s not because I measured it myself. After saying I’ve measured it myself, he said I could come back and he could measure it. Which is already a massive inconvenience as I’d just gotten home hungry still recovering from my injury. I don’t want to have to drive 15 mins total just to have him measure and replace the pizza. He should’ve had it right in the first place. Make sure you measure your pizza before leaving. The owner/manager is not...
Read moreI casually work in delivery, and watched this café try to blame one of the drivers for a mistake. The driver came to the restaurant offering a solution and never pointed fingers. The attendant couldn’t understand, so they had to call the manager. Unfortunately, the manager wasn’t willing to listen and was focused on assigning blame, patronising the driver, and belittling him.
The solution offered was simple: just verify which order was correct. Unfortunately, the manager responded by saying, “You should know which is which.” Remarkably, this just isn't fair. The driver isn’t responsible for cooking the meal, packaging the item, labelling it correctly, and then handing it to themselves.
As an Australian-born, fourth-generation local, I watched on in dismay. The Australian values of fairness, respect, and mateship were not upheld in any regard. This cafe has gone down hill since change...
Read moreI ordered the "Juicy Lucy – Mixed Halal Snack Pack" from this restaurant because it was clearly labeled as Halal on Uber Eats. But when I arrived and asked the staff directly, I was shocked to hear that the food is not actually Halal. When I pointed out that it’s listed as Halal on Uber Eats, the staff member rudely responded, "I don’t care. Do whatever you want."
This is completely unacceptable. Many people, including myself, rely on Halal labeling for religious and personal reasons. Misleading customers like this is not only unethical but also deeply disrespectful.
Please do not rely on Uber Eats for accurate food labeling either. They should take responsibility and verify these claims before allowing restaurants to advertise as Halal (or any dietary requirement).
Until this is corrected, I strongly advise others to avoid this place if you're specifically looking...
