The Pambula River track is an intermediate difficulty path with lots a mostly uneven rocky and rooty path, although if you are willing to do the work you can get to some amazing spots. The main beach area at the entrance is often occupied by many families and tourists alike but taking 10-20 minutes to walk down the trail you can find some secluded and often completely deserted sandy areas. In almost all areas the water descends at a gradual gradient so it's safe and fun for anyone. If you're just interested in going for a walk it's also great with views of the natural landscape and opportunities to see local fauna in the bush.

Short easy walk up above the river. Trail is narrow and rocky in parts. Great views of the river and a few lookout spots along the way.

One of the most idyllic places I've found. Tranquil, picturesque and visually stunning. I didn't want to leave.

This is a beautiful little spot. We stopped for a picnic and went for a walk around the cliffs to the ocean. We saw some dolphins swim by. Highly recommended. I can imagine it would get very busy in summer and...
