The Pambula River track is an intermediate difficulty path with lots a mostly uneven rocky and rooty path, although if you are willing to do the work you can get to some amazing spots. The main beach area at the entrance is often occupied by many families and tourists alike but taking 10-20 minutes to walk down the trail you can find some secluded and often completely deserted sandy areas. In almost all areas the water descends at a gradual gradient so it's safe and fun for anyone.
