We did the full tour including the night time documentary and light show. I have no interest in trains at all however, the documentary showed how the town was established, migrants and Australians who worked on the trains and made Peterborough their home. Do no miss seeing the Night Light n Sound Show, and 2hr daytime guided tours of Steamtown. Phil & Tamara were both enthusiastic, entertaining and knowledgeable. Their stories were wonderful. Tamara gave us a town map and marked everything we should see. So glad we stopped overnight. And stayed 3 days there was so much to see. Well done reinventing yourself...

My husband had a fall in the caravan park (his own fault) and the attention he received was first rate. From the park manager to the paramedics, ambos, fire truck crew, nurses & doctor at the hospital. Also the ambos who put him on the flying doctor plane who came to check on me afterwards.
