Shelly Beach says it in its name. It is a lovely beach, fairly sheltered and gentle waves with lots of shells and rocks on the beach to explore. The surf (Feb) was cold but refreshing, with gentle waves over rocks underneath rather than sand. Took a bit to get use to and would be perfect for floaties or noodles as to prevent you from touching the rocks underfoot. The waves were nice and gentle, couldn't really body surf but great to float in and throw a ball and play some water games. Parking was easy and walking down to the beach was short but be careful as there is a 800mm high rock retaining wall that we climbed down.
