What an awesome café! This place is a delightful the senses for all those who love the bush, even if you are one who tends to nature at arm's length. Very friendly and helpful wait staff. Excellent popsicles--good to take on the rainforest walk with you!

The gift shop is the best there is and will surprise you with the best gift no matter how stuck you are. It's all eco-friendly stuff, too! You can always feel good about contributing to NPWS and the artists and businesses that sell their excellent products in this shop. It's always great quality and always hits the spot for the giftee, so to speak.

The rainforest boardwalk is the star attraction available for a very small ticket price (to support maintenance and national parks initiatives!). It offers an unusual outlook on the fertile forest landscape of the National Park around. It's amazing what you notice from a higher vantage point than the forest floor.

The walk is completely wheelchair accessible for all wheelchair and pram types, though you might have to do a bit of negotiating with more heavy duty power chairs. It's a 1.3km loop and perfect for those who are visiting the area and want to take a stroll without being encumbered by troublesome terrain. Exquisite...

What a disappointment ! Booked table for 6 people two of whom would have walkers. We had come from Sydney and this was a special day. On the phone the girl was charming. No problem she said when i asked for table to be inside. We arrived on time with our 90 year old friends with walkers and were told we could not have table inside even though it looked like rain. Were told they would move us inside if it rained. We insisted as friends with walkers were having difficulty moving around. They reluctantly put two tables together. No smiles from them. Food was club type not what we had hoped for. We eventually ordered coffee which was brought to the table whilst all dirty plates were still on table. We had to ask them to take plates which they did with bad grace but left a few so we moved them to another table ourselves. They were rude. I would have to say the service was deadful, the food very ordinary and the experience was one we shall not be repeating. We could have overlooked the food if they had kept their word and shown some courtesy and friendliness. After all, it was supposed to be a special day for two elderly people who...

Was really disappointed with the food, and the lack of cleanliness in the outdoor eating area. Ordered a salad sandwich on wholemeal (just your average supermarket loaf of wholemeal bread) and the bread felt like it had been left out in the air for a while, it had that stale feel, and it was pretty bland and tasteless and no effort had been put into making it. For almost $10 I had been expecting so much more, (at the very least, better quality bread). Others in my group ordered the fish of the day (ocean trout) and asked for it to be grilled and it was as dry and tasteless as anything, another got a burger and was dissatisfied, and another got the fish and chips and was dissatisfied. Another got the special of falafel and beetroot salad and this actually looked amazing and she said it was delicious, so probably luck of the draw with the food, definitely not consistent. A variety of juices were ordered and these were all good. Staff were OK, not rude but not overly friendly or helpful either. I'm not from the area, but definitely wouldn't bother going back if I ever visited Port...

Well, well, well, let's dissect this disappointing lunch experience: So, picture this: after a grueling hike along Lighthouse Beach to, you guessed it, a lighthouse, we thought we'd treat ourselves to a bite at Sea Acres Cafe, nestled along the Sea Acres walk. But lo and behold, the resemblance between this joint and yours truly was uncanny: First off, the food. It looked nothing like the glamorous snapshots on their menu. Much like my own reflection in the morning mirror, it failed to live up to expectations. And let's talk ambiance. The place displayed a little neglect, age and weather-worn despair, much like I felt after trudging through sand and wind during our lighthouse adventure. In the end, it was... okay. We enjoyed the walk.

Best slow cooked beef Brisket I've tasted. The asparagus was cooked to perfection, not half cooked in microwave as most places do. The mushroom sauce was so tasty. My mum enjoyed her Pumpkin Risotto Cake with Beetroot Relish and Parmesan, grilled tomato and baby spinach. Although late to arrive, the meal was delicious with exceptional service, not rushed. Cappacinno was great too. Reasonably priced. Wonderful views of rainforest while you eat. Will definitely go back and enjoy another lunch at this Cafe. A wander around the centre us worth doing as many gifts can be found.

Immersed in the wilderness! You can stay inside or outside and experience the same total immersion in nature with the sound of birds and the rustling of plants. The staff is friendly and courteous! The cafe is well presented with spaces accessible to all. A large and convenient parking lot outside the cafe is located inside the sea acres rainforest center. I think the prices are a bit high compared to the prices of Sydney a $6.70 for a large almond latte. I leave a high rating because maybe it's just my impression... will I go back? No!
