Probably my favourite beach in the national Park with its rolling waves and soft sands, and as an added bonus you get the shelter of the trees on those sunny days. Having the bathrooms nearby is added bonus for families etc, and it’s a good place to set up base camp, whilst others in your party surf, you can walk the length of the national park, and come out at Hells Gate, and come back through the tanglewood track, if it’s too hot on the path, and cool down with a refreshing swim when you return.

Read moreThe beach is really lovely and wasn’t crowded when we got there (around 10am). The walk to get there was super easy. I was with my 7-year old and he enjoyed it a lot. It took us about 15 minutes to get from the closest car park to this beach. When we arrived, we noticed that almost everyone was wearing sneakers while we were with beach sandals. For a moment I started questioning our choice, but went ahead anyways. I can confirm that it was not a problem to wear sandals for the walk until this beach.
