LifeGurd are terrible. They are absolutely worthless and have a really nasty attitude. At the beach gate, which now closes at a very early time of 9:00 a.m., the traffic controllers are also extremely harsh and have a nasty attitude. The beach used to be much better before, but when the government has done some fixing, parking is not free. If the gate is closed? You will need to walk one hour to the beach, that is If they let you in, . Not recommended for Family with Kids It was windy that blew away my hopesof having good times. But whatwind didnot blow awayare plastic cups and trashes that ruined beauty spot. Stopped off there on the way to Kiama. A little walk but ok with small kids. It was very quiet when we went with light sprinkle but a great place for a beach picnic. There is a small lagoon and the beach. Will go again.

A hidden gem in Royal National Park, Wattamolla Dam is a picturesque spot for a picnic, swim, or bushwalk. The dam is surrounded by lush bushland and towering sandstone cliffs, and its waters are perfect for a refreshing dip on a hot day. There is a short walking track from the car park to the dam, and there are also several longer bushwalks that start from the area. The Wattamolla to Marley Beach walk is a popular choice, offering stunning coastal views. Wattamolla Dam is a great place to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It is also a great spot for families and groups, with plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the outdoors.

...magical... Water Dragons, lizards, eels, skinks, crows...the flora and fauna was plentiful. Wonderful opportunities to take stunning photos of our wondrous landscape. There are boardwalks in parts, the walk is easy from the carpark to the dam bit. So tranquil and serene... Nature at its best... Great spot for yoga, breath work, meditation, swimming, snorkelling or picnic. There is shade from trees and plenty of rocks to sunbathe. Toilets and bins at carpark... Whatever you bring with you, take back... Respect Nature and it will reciprocate...
