I had the most amazing experience in spite of missing the 7:45 am feeding. Liz, who was collecting the $15 entrance fee, was super helpful. She explained where everything was and also checked with her colleagues on the current dolphin activity. Liz also mentioned that my 'day' pass was good for 24 hours from the time of purchase. Mary, in the info center/gift shop, was extraordinary. She shared her photos of the manta ray that appeared the previous day, along with a photo she took yesterday of a dolphin leaping out of the water. Mary also mentioned watching the skies for Osprey. I saw dolphins and turtles. I'm back in the morning for the first feeding. Be aware that the three feedings could be over as early as 10 am.

I loved this experience , but it’s definitely a tourist pull. Well managed by the staff and the dolphins are beautiful to see! I understand that practices have had to change for the well being of the dolphins but you really do not get up close and personal with them

Beautiful place but if your plan is to spend a few away hours at the jetty and the beach ...you don't need to pay the entry fee, just drive ahead and park the vehicle in the 3hr parking zone...go round the beach and eat at the cafe.

Our family of 8 spent some wonderful 7 days at Monkey Mia. It was our first time and we had a great time. The food was great, the boat rides informative and very enjoyable, especially for the kids. We certainly will come again. This time with fishing rods to complete...
