Lively place, strolled down here twice now and has been littered with activities, people and campavans. Play ground, amphitheatre, bbq, walk ways, info boards with lots of history and map of kallgoolie. School race day was on so stood around watching that. Alot of tired travellers parking up to take a nap and have a break from their journey, green grass everywhere. Take your shoes and socks off to ground yourself and relax while listening to natures song of peace, even thou the main rd is right there it is drowned out by your care factor ZERO that the world is passing you by! Therein lies the problem. The toilets were okay for public toilets. The public carpark is empty mostly during the day, but at night, that's when it really ramps up. Loud music, driving recklessly on gravel carpark, loud talking, constant coming and going through the night. Very disappointing. The caravan parks are too expensive, so we have been to Kalgoorlie, seen this amazing place, we dont need to put it on our itinerary...
