If you visit Ballina make sure you visit South wall. Give yourself some time to be there and I’m sure you won’t regret the views. While I was there dolphins were aplenty and I was also lucky enough to see a whale breaching. MAGNIFICENT!!

We rode there from East Ballina and made a day of it. Great fishing spot along the south wall with anyone fishing. We caught the cable ferry across the river.

As far as rock walls goes, this is up there with the best of them. Lost 1 star as I broke a thong on the walk back in.
