Caught the Burns ferry across, so that was pretty cool. It did cost $6.00 each way (per car), but worth the money just for the ride. The beach is so nice here and peaceful. You drive your 4wd down the beach. (I believe you gain access to beach via the caravan park) Pet friendly Fishing Surfing Bird watching No toliets No freshwater

Beautiful beach. Used to be dog and 4wd vehicle friendly but neither is permitted any longer, due to shorebird nesting concerns. Perhaps this is seasonal, but in May of 2022 this was the case. So if you are looking for an empty beach to explore, this...
