Stansbury Museum — Attraction in Stansbury

The Stansbury Museum has something for everyone. It's housed in the old school house and a huge shed. The exhibits cover a very wide range from 1800s daily life, maritime and fishing, agricultural equipment .... all sorts of stuff. There's a "treasure hunt" for kids with printed sheets provided that make searching for items in the museum even more interesting. This museum deserves to be more well known. I've visited museums in capital cities that aren't as good...

Hidden treasure! I grew up in Stansbury, but never really visited the museum! Definitely worth a visit! They have some amazing things from many different time periods! Very friendly staff! And a cheap visit!

Great little spot with a LOT of stuff packed in there to look at. They were only open for a couple of hours on the day we went and you really need both of them to properly have a look...
