Little Yabba Rest Area — Attraction in Sunshine Coast Regional

Beautiful setting amongst the tall trees and great creek with sand and gravel beaches. You can get down to the creek but only for the adventurous. The toilets are composting type, just make sure you close the lid so the system will work. There are picnic tables about but only one with a roof and resident birds that have made the table unusable. Follow the walking trail between areas as the area sits on either side...

A great rest area and park. It’s not a week or weekend campgrounds as some appear to think. 🙄 It’s purely an overnight traveler’s rest area for STRICTLY ONE NIGHT ONLY STAY. If people continue to overstay the one night only condition I guess this will be closed to camping eventually. Come on people, please respect this beautiful rest area and just stay one...

Clean and tidy free campsite.

There is one picnic table on the camp side but a few more across the road at the day rest area.

Creek near by is very clear and perfect to paddle in.

Toilets are composting but they are very clean and not smelly at all.

We saw a few possums at night and plenty of birds.
